Every year, more than 500,000 patients are helped at UCLA’s hospitals and clinics and by the investigations done within the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA—research based on interdisciplinary science and now prioritized into six themes: cancer; cardiovascular medicine; immunity/inflammation/infection/transplantation (I3T); metabolism; neuroscience; and regenerative medicine.
