Medical Education

Help the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA create world leaders in medicine and science.

CREATING WORLD LEADERS IN HEALTH AND SCIENCE

Scholarships and student support are critical investments that enable UCLA to attract exceptional students who will shape the future of medicine. The impact extends are beyond graduation, as today’s learners become leaders and pioneers in their professions. Approximately 65 percent of our UCLA MD alumni remain in California, where they care for patients and strengthen the health of our communities across from one of the world’s largest economies.

Students are surrounded by a great ecosystem of support. They learn from world-class faculty, many of whom trained at UCLA, and help prepare graduates for the opportunities and challenges of modern medicine. Additionally, UCLA medical students have access to innovative facilities including Geffen Hall and the Simulation Center at Eugene and Maxine Rosenfeld Hall, a state-of-the-art facility that prepares our learners and clinicians for challenging medical scenarios.

Our educational outreach programs enhance students’ learning. From volunteering in student-run free clinics that serve the county’s most vulnerable citizens to mentoring aspiring physicians, our students embrace service as a cornerstone of their education and future careers.

Your investment in Medical Education will not only benefit our students, but also the thousands of patients and families that these future physicians will one day serve. Today’s medical students are tomorrow’s health care leaders and innovators, and your generosity helps make their impact possible.
