You can make a world of a difference for talented students with financial need.
UCLA scholarships create the opportunity for students to reach their full potential with access to the unparalleled resources, faculty and community of the No. 1 public university in the nation.
As the leading elite institution for enrolling low- and middle-income students and ensuring they graduate with little or no student debt, UCLA provides a path to a better future. Scholarships give many students their start.
About half of Bruin undergraduates pay no tuition or fees to attend UCLA. However, the total cost of a bachelor’s degree also includes paying for housing, meals, textbooks, supplies and more, creating a financial challenge for many students and their families. This can prevent some students from enrolling or even applying to UCLA. Scholarships are the solution.
Bruins are the leaders, innovators and change-makers of tomorrow. By supporting them, you can make a profound impact on the lives of students striving to advance both academically and professionally. Your gift makes their journey possible.
Students who receive scholarship support are relieved of financial worries. They feel more confident, connected and optimistic. Without the need for employment, they can focus on their studies, join campus groups to develop their leadership skills and participate in career-aligned internships or research projects during the academic year. In fact, one in four Bruins embarks on research while an undergraduate.
Every gift to scholarships makes a difference. Your support makes you part of the UCLA Affordability Initiative, a campuswide effort to ensure that exceptional students with the talent and desire to make a difference can attend and thrive at UCLA, regardless of their financial circumstances. You can help us build brighter futures.
“My scholarship has opened a whole world to me, both at UCLA and beyond. The education I have received has been first-rate, thanks to the excellent professors and the connections I have made. Beyond campus, I will never forget the time I spent as a volunteer in Mexico with a campus service organization. Working with the community there — especially the children — was a truly life-changing experience.” Jasmine A. Political Science & Theater ’26
