Support Bruin Wildfire Relief Our hearts are heavy as we continue to witness the devastation caused by the fires throughout L.A. County. Many in the Bruin community have endured tremendous loss, uncertainty and displacement due to the current crisis affecting our region. In response to the crisis, we’d like to share information about opportunities to support our affected staff, faculty and students during this challenging time. Students who have been impacted by the fires are turning to UCLA’s Economic Crisis Response Center for urgent support, including emergency housing, meal vouchers and additional campus resources. If you would like to help, please consider making a gift to the Economic Crisis Fund, which directly aids students in need. Support UCLA Students At the same time, UCLA is actively coordinating resources to assist those employed by UCLA in varying capacities including faculty, staff and researchers who have been impacted by this tragedy. We’ve established a disaster relief fund and program to help those impacted by unexpected financial expenses caused by the recent fires in Los Angeles. If you would like to support our employees, please make a gift to the UCLA Employee Relief Fund. Support UCLA Employees In times like these, connection is key. UCLA connects: We connect with one another, and with the broader community. We deeply appreciate the outpouring of concern and hope that you stay safe as we navigate this challenging period together.- For the latest updates regarding campus operations and air quality, we recommend you visit Bruins Safe Online. If you are a UCLA student or employee impacted by the fires and seeking support, applications will be open the week of January 20.
