Trailblazers, advocates, scholars, and creators—UCLA students with disabilities represent a powerful and vital part of our campus community. They arrive at UCLA with the same drive and potential as any student, but may face unique challenges in navigating university life without dedicated support. That’s where the Center for Accessible Education (CAE) steps in: to ensure that every qualified student has the access, opportunity, and tools they need to thrive.

Whether a student needs help with extended test-taking time, accessible classroom materials, or tailored housing arrangements, CAE collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to foster a campus where accessibility and inclusion are integral to student success.
Disability is not a limitation on ambition or potential—it is one aspect of the diverse identities that enrich UCLA. CAE empowers thousands of Bruins each year to engage fully in the academic and co-curricular life of the university, while also serving as a campus-wide educational resource on disability and inclusion.
