See stories and progress from The CENTENNIAL Campaign for
Bringing together health-care industry leaders for public monthly discussions of critical health-related issues.
For 40 years, as a professor of health policy and management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Dr. Paul Torrens patiently guided, mentored and advised generations of students, helping many shape distinguished careers in public health.
Dr. Torrens devoted his career to bridging the academic and practice worlds. He began holding free monthly forums, now named in his honor, to bring together healthcare leaders, community groups, faculty and students to discuss critical issues in public health. Now in its eighth year, the Paul Torrens Health Forum is a well-respected source of discovery and conversation about the prevailing health issues of the day. It is a most fitting legacy for a man who has done so much for so many.
But it is not possible for us to offer such a vibrant and engaging program at no cost without the support of generous donors. Please make a gift to The Paul Torrens Health Forum Event Fund to help us continue to be able to provide this impactful community program free of charge.
