Providing financial assistance to transform skills — and lives.
Since its 1917 beginning, UCLA Extension has run on “green lights” — offering possibility and open doors to nontraditional and continuing education. Today, 50,000 students attend UCLA Extension each year because they have a dream to learn new skills, to secure a new job or career, or simply to discover something new. Through tactical learning and robust curricula, these students have the opportunity to change the course of their lives.
But some students are not able to embark on this transformative journey due to financial limitations. UCLA Extension receives no state funding and relies on class fees and private philanthropy. That’s where UCLA Extension scholarships come in — to help students ease the financial burden of taking classes and pursuing passions at one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most comprehensive continuing higher-education institutions. UCLA Extension scholarships make it possible for students to enrich their education, master skills and climb to new heights.
The UCLA Extension model asks those who can pay, to pay — and those who can do more, to donate. Your gift to the UCLA Extension Scholarship Fund can help offer financial assistance to students in the form of merit or achievement-based scholarships. Your gift can help dreamers become doers.
